From sales manager to a successful trader

Wytze Plantenga worked for more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He had several positions such as medical representative, product manager and for most of the time as a sales manager. Companies he worked for, included Pfizer, Abbott and GSK in the UK, Norway and the Netherlands. Wytze successfully trained, coached and managed many different sales teams.  Because of the combination of analytical and personal skills, he has been able to give his team members a valuable insight in how they can improve their performance even better.  During all those years, the pharmaceutical industry was recession proof and provided plenty opportunities and jobs.  The rising costs of healthcare and the search from governments to keep those costs under control, changed the industry completely.  As a result, it also affected Wytze.

Changing circumstances

At the age of 55 Wytze was confronted with the fact that his secure career path took a drastic turn.  The company he worked for, had to downsize due to government regulations. He managed to fill some temporary contracts. However, jobs in the whole pharmaceutical industry were disappearing fast and the times of large sales forces made place for small lean teams. These different circumstances motivated Wytze to look for alternatives.

Learning to trade

At a seminar, Wytze heard about a workshop about how to make money trading stocks and forex. He was immediately very interested and signed up for an intense two-year program. During the past years he invested an enormous amount of time, money and effort to learn the skills you need to be able make a profit trading stocks & Forex on the financial markets. He has been trained by big names like Marcus de Maria, Alex Mandossian, Blair Singer and so on.

Training others

Wytze is making over 30% profit a year and is successfully coaching other traders.  He is giving trading courses and has spoken at several events about trading and the technical aspects of trading. Because of his own experience, Wytze knows how fast the world around us is changing and the impact that can have on your career. Companies are shedding jobs, many traditional jobs are disappearing. Furthermore, the interest rate on savings are below the rate of inflation. In addition to all of that, pensions might not give us the expected financial security when we are older. All these factors will mean that there are many of us who will face some serious financial challenges when we grow older.

His mission

The realisation that there are far more people who face similar financial challenges has prompted Wytze to make it his mission to teach others how they can become financially free. From his own experience, he knows how important it is to prepare for any eventuality. That is why he founded his company BrainAdvantage.
